Chooooooo!
Yep, that's right. The best player on the Cleveland Indians is from where else but South Korea. My boy Shin-soo. I saw this sign kind of out in the boonies when I went to go buy my guitar in a place called Suwon.
Apartment Tour Pt. 1
So here is the first part of the video tour for our cozy little apartment in Cheonan. Emphasis on cozy.
PS: I spelled apartment wrong.

The Hotel Room Tour
Our room at the Coatel Hotel in Seoul. It's got a lot. My favorite's probably the unreadable washer.
The First Load
It took us (and by us I mean Jess) two times through to wash our first load of clothes. The first time they didn't smell any better. By the way, it's been like 90 degrees here, so we sweat a little bit. A lot bit compared to the Koreans.
So we ran it through twice, and then we were in business. Except for the fact that we didn't run enough spin cycles. It took our clothes like 18 hours to dry, but dry they did.
Oh, and that drying rack in the video, we weren't using it right until we came back from training one day and found that the cleaning lady had set it up correctly for us.
Lovely lady...

Wayward Travelers
So after 24 hours of travel, we arrived in Seoul, South Korea. It was unbearable at times, but all in all... well, we made it. We were just glad to be back on the ground.
Except for the fact that we couldn't get into our hotel.
So after thirty-some hours of travel, we got into our hotel room and got to rest. More on that later.

5 days, 21 hours and 42 minutes
Until we'll be on a plane. And then we'll go half way around the world. To a place most people never get to see in their lifetimes. But we'll be there, Jess and Dave, wandering around. And little by little, we'll get a clue about life on the other side of the world.
It took loads of paperwork and tons of research. A trip to Chicago and plenty of e-mails to our recruiter in Boston. And we're still not done, but we are almost there.
In 5 days, 21 hours and 42 minutes, we'll hop one plane, and then another, and walk out in Korea.
